Terms of Service

These are the terms that apply when you book a laundry, dry cleaning or garment care order with Luxere Laundry Services. They describe how orders work, what we each need to do, and what happens when something goes wrong.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms apply between you and Luxere Laundry Services ("Luxere", "we", "us"), which operates a laundry, dry cleaning and garment care collection and delivery service in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

By booking a pickup you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.

2. What we provide

We collect garments from an address you give us, clean them using a process appropriate to each garment, and return them to that address. The services available are wash and fold, wash and iron, dry cleaning, and premium garment care.

We are a collection and delivery service. We do not operate a walk-in counter.

3. Booking and pickup windows

An order exists once we have confirmed it with you. The confirmation states the collection arrangement and the return arrangement for that order.

Published pickup windows are 30 minutes in our central service zones and 45 minutes in the outer corridors. A pickup window is the period within which a care agent aims to reach you after the slot you booked; it is not a guarantee, and traffic, weather, and access restrictions at your building can affect it. Where a window cannot be met we will tell you.

Return timing is confirmed when your order is created. If a deadline matters to you, tell us before the garments leave your possession so we can say whether it is achievable.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give us an accurate collection and delivery address, and be reachable during the window you booked.
  • Empty pockets before handing over a bag. We are not responsible for items left in garments.
  • Tell us about garments that need dry cleaning or premium care rather than a standard wash.
  • Point out stains and, where you know it, say what caused them. Treatment depends on the cause.
  • Declare existing damage — loose buttons, open seams, weakened fabric, prior repairs — before cleaning.
  • Tell us if a garment is of unusual value or is irreplaceable, so it can be assessed rather than processed as part of a load.

5. Pricing and payment

Wash and fold and wash and iron are priced by weight, and the final amount is determined once the bag is weighed. Dry cleaning is priced per garment, counted at collection. Premium garment care is quoted per piece after the garment has been assessed, and no work begins on a premium care item until you have accepted the quote.

Published prices are starting prices in Indian rupees and are the same in every service zone we cover. Any minimum order requirement, payment method and payment timing applicable to your order are confirmed when the order is created.

6. Items we may decline

We may decline to clean a garment, and will tell you rather than attempt it, where in our assessment cleaning is likely to damage it. This includes garments whose fabric or construction cannot be safely identified, items already significantly damaged, and pieces whose embellishment cannot survive any available process.

We may also decline items that are unsanitary or that could contaminate other garments.

7. Care, risk and liability

We take reasonable care of every garment in our possession and clean it according to a process chosen for its fabric. Cleaning can nonetheless reveal pre-existing weakness in a garment — dye instability, weakened fibre, failing stitching, or damage from earlier cleaning — that was not visible beforehand. Where that occurs the cleaning has revealed the condition rather than created it.

If you believe a garment has been damaged or lost while in our care, contact us as set out in our Refund Policy. Each case is investigated individually, and we will tell you what we find. Any resolution is agreed with you directly.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable Indian consumer protection law.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a booking before collection by contacting us. Once garments have been collected and processing has started, cancellation is handled case by case — contact us and we will tell you what stage your order is at.

We may cancel an order if we cannot reach your address, if the garments differ materially from what was booked, or if we decline an item under section 6. Where we cancel, you are not charged for work not done.

9. Uncollected garments

If we cannot complete a delivery because you are unreachable at the address given, we will contact you to arrange a further attempt. Garments are held for you; we will tell you how long we can hold them when the situation arises.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to it. The date above records when the wording last changed.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
